If you are in need of a basket, please complete the form below. On November 15, we will reach out to schedule the delivery time. Then on November 18 or November 21, we will deliver your basket to your home. Yes, it is that easy.

Newport School District and United way are teaming up for the annual Winter Coat Give Away!
If you need a coat to keep warm this winter come to the Newport Common on Friday, October 28 from 8am - 2pm.

Our Resident Artist, Katie Runde, has finished her impressive piece near the lower parking lot here at Richards School. Students also worked throughout the day to create their own unique chalk paw prints throughout the sidewalk areas. We invite you to come see all the hard work!





Richards School is excited to be hosting an Artist in Residence tomorrow- Tuesday, October 4th. Katie Runde will be creating a tiger themed work of chalk art on our school grounds. Students will create their own work of art in a paw shape. We will be filming Katie's work and conducting a few interviews throughout the day. The time-lapsed video will air on NCTV when it is completed. We hope that you will make some time in the next week or so to stop by and view our outdoor gallery of fabulous work! Chalk is only temporary, so watch the weather...

Richards Teachers are hard at work today during their Professional Development time! They are embarking on a LETRS® training adventure. This LETRS® (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) training will help our teaching staff become literacy and language experts in the science of reading.

Richards Annual School Cleanup Day!
We welcome all community members to join us in our 2nd annual back to school clean up day on Thursday, August 18th from 9am-3pm.


The School Board will attend the selectboard meeting for the purpose of discussing the SRO position.
The School Board is not conducting this meeting as it is a meeting of the selectboard.
