There will be a high school girls basketball open gym on Tuesday, October 31 from 4:00-6:00 PM.
No. 1 Newport will battle no. 4 Bishop Brady in the Division IV football finals Saturday, November 4 at Maryn Field at 1:00 p.m.
Admission is charged by the NHIAA.Tickets prices are $5 for students and senior citizens and $7 for adults.
Tickets will be available at the gate or you can purchase ahead of time by going to www.nhiaa.org and go to the ‘Tournament Info’ tab, click on Tournament Tickets, then on ‘GoFan - Buy Tickets’.
MS & HS Fall Sports Potlucks
The middle school sports potluck and certificate event will take place at 5:30 PM on Thursday, November 2 in the cafeteria.
The high school sports potluck and awards event will take place at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, November 14 in the cafeteria.

Tanya Perry Photography will be at the high school on October 24 after school to take team photos in the gym. Please note your team's time and show up in uniform even if you are not interested in purchasing individual photos, since we will take a group team photo.

Newport Tigers field hockey team finished the season with a record of 12-2 and will be the second seed in the upcoming Division III tournament. The Tigers have earned a bye and will host a quarterfinal match on Saturday, October 21 at 2 p.m. at Veterans Field.
Newport will face off against the winner of sixth-seeded Berlin and eleventh-seeded Hopkinton.
On October 24, Newport Middle and High school bands and choirs will perform at the Claremont Opera House at 6:30 PM, alongside SAU 6 and Dallas Brass. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults, and $20 for families of any size.
Tonight the first-ever Deschaine/Flint Field Hockey Cup game will be contested between Newport and Stevens at Monadnock Park. Game time is 6:30 pm.

The Newport at Bishop Brady varsity football game scheduled for Saturday, October 7 at Memorial Field in Concord at 6:00 pm has been postponed. The makeup date is Sunday, October 8 at Memorial Field in Concord at 6:00 pm.
The girls soccer team is heading to Bishop Brady today. The soccer field is at 90 West Portsmouth Street, Concord. The field is not at the high school; it is an offsite facility.
Today's (9/29) MS soccer game is postponed to a date to be determined. All scheduled HS games (field hockey and JV boys soccer) will be played today.
The varsity football game scheduled for September 23, Newport at Newfound ,has been canceled.
Newfound does not have enough healthy players to field a team and will have to forfeit the game.
The next game for the Tigers is homecoming weekend on September 30 vs. Somersworth at 12:30 pm at Maryn Field.
