2025 Newport Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner and Celebration
Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Newport Opera House
Assemble at 5:30 pm; dinner (catered by the Old Courthouse Restaurant) at 6:30 pm with the awards to follow.
Individual inductees are Jack Starr, Rollin Gentes, Tom Scherwerts, Ray Currier, Dick Krans, Chad Hemingway, Vinroy Baronette, Elyse Rubchinuk, Samantha Hemingway, and Stephan Nix. The contributor inductee is David Lantz and Family and the coach inductee is Larry Carle. The team inductee is the 2015 varsity football team coached by Larry MacElreavy, Tom Fowler and Bill Thurlow.
Each individual inductee receives two complimentary tickets. Members of the 2015 team can buy tickets for $15.

There are limited tickets at the Newport Recreation Department, Coronis Market and at the door.
Tickets to sit in the balcony for the awards ceremony are $10 and will be sold at the door.
