posted Sep 10, 2015, 8:56 AM by lapaquin@sau43.org

We are thrilled to announce that Kelly George has taken on a new role in the Croydon Village School Community as a teaching principal, which started her 15th year in the field of education. Kelly is very excited to begin this new chapter in her career. Kelly is a strong advocate for children and is inspired by the rapid learning young children demonstrate. As a teaching principal, Kelly most looks forward to supporting the school staff as they lead the student’s learning. While Kelly thoroughly enjoys teaching as her main career, she finds this position presents a unique opportunity for her to gain experience as a leader and to contribute to a community she holds dear to her heart.

Kelly grew up in Central NY, graduating from Rome Free Academy in 1996. Undergraduate and graduate work occurred at the State University at Oswego and Olivet Nazarene University, respectively. She started her career in Chicago, Illinois before moving to NH in 2008. She currently lives in Newport with her husband, 4 year old son and golden retriever. She enjoys taking her dog, Sunny, swimming on Little Lake Sunapee, spending time with family, cooking and being outdoors.

Congratulations Kelly!  We are so excited to have you on board and look forward to a fantastic new school year!
